it Takes What's it take to be a CSD team member? Our trained teams can handle urban, wilderness, and disaster SAR service. Our handlers are trained in all aspects of the search function. Wilderness Qualifications Our Wilderness Teams are qualified by New Zealand LandSAR Emergency Response Qualifications CSD works to the National Urban Search and Rescue standards set by the New Zealand Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Management. CSD Elementary K9 SAR Dog Assessment CSD offers two assessed 12 week elementary courses for novice dogs and handlers. Dog teams must pass both of these assessments before being invited to become CSD members |
